Established in 1869, Hellgate Elementary is rich in history as one of the oldest school systems in Montana. The K-8 district is located west of Missoula, near the confluence of the Clark Fork and Bitterroot Rivers and is named after the Hellgate Canyon. Hellgate Elementary is one of the premier school districts in the area.
